Overview
Globetech was engaged by BlueScope Steel to design, manufacture, and construct a replacement for the Lime Kiln DC Drive system.
Scope
The scope of work included complete design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of the main DC drives operating the Lime Kiln. This encompassed the design of the drive and safety systems, panel design and manufacture, installation of equipment on the kiln, new power supplies, electrical panel installation, field cabling, racking, and commissioning.
