Overview
Globetech and Globetech Construction were engaged by JPG to design, manufacture, and install/commission the expansion of their treatment facility.
Scope
Working closely with JPG Engineering, Globetech and Globetech Construction determined the requirements for the new power infrastructure to support the facility expansion. Once established, Globetech was responsible for the design of the electrical infrastructure, control system upgrades, and the design and manufacture of MCC and control panels, drive systems, as well as associated construction and commissioning activities.
Project Challenges
Key challenges included defining functionality requirements for all potential operating scenarios and integrating new systems into the existing plant. The project also faced difficulties working with limited and potentially inaccurate existing drawings and validating installation content.
How We Managed This
Functionality requirements were finalised through a series of client engagement workshops. Design challenges were addressed by validating the existing installation against current drawings, which then formed the basis for the new design.
Globetech and Globetech Construction leveraged its in-house design, manufacturing, and construction expertise to deliver the project entirely under one roof, providing a single interface to the client.

The project was delivered on schedule and successfully placed into service after commissioning. Globetech and Globetech Construction’s integrated approach ensured seamless coordination, reduced risk, and a high-quality, fully operational expansion for the client.
